Great to see Fedora 44 land accelerated HDMI and wifi on the Pi5, but the hard-coded cma=256M workaround underlines that the upstream DRM driver still cannot negotiate contiguous carve-outs dynamically, which becomes painful once you start stacking containers or an etcd node on the same board. Until NVMe and USB-boot land, the CAP corner where availability meets SD-card consistency is going to bite hobby clusters, so I am still holding off upgrading my k3s fleet.
